Hello, my name is kj some of you may remember me from a few years ago, I drop by from time to time. For those of you that don't know me my ab was Sept 11th 2003 and I was 18 at the time.

I wanted very much to keep the baby but my family had other ideas. Anyway, through the help of friends (some made on this site) I've been gradually dealing with the aftermath.

Last year I fell pregnant again, now 23 and on my own two feet the news was very welcome! After a lovely pregnancy I gave birth 2 weeks ago to my beautiful baby girl Sarah Emma. I don't think I realised how much it would change me but it has, everything seems to have fallen into place. My love for her has made me far more able to cope with the past than I ever thought I would be.

I know many women have concerns that if they have a baby it will be a replacement for the one they didn't keep, but I can assure you when the midwife placed her on my stomach I knew she was my individual and special daughter, a whole new experience not linked to my ab at all.

I wished to share this with you partly so any of my old friends still on here can hear my news, but mainly to offer hope and encouagement for those suffering from the pain of abortion or those thinking about having a child after their experience.

I've been through it, at times I've been so low you wouldn't believe some of the stuff I've done, I've spent several years pushing everyone who cares away from me. I'm here now to say it does get easier, life goes on and I'm a shining example of that. I'm the happiest I've ever been and I want anyone who is feeling low right now to lift you head up and have hope, let your friends in and trust in God that you are going to get through this.

My best wishes to each and every one of you,

Kj xxx

KJ,

Congrats. I am delighted you have found new joy. I await the arrival of my sixth grandbaby ( anyday now). The pregnancies of my children have been hard. I did not run and dealt with the emotions have occurred. Thanks for Safe Haven's love and comfort that I have had since August, 2002 when I found the site. My circle of new supportive friends. It has made me stronger. My cyber prayers are with you, keep in touch.

Patty
